Our Story

Marriage has gone through its share of ups and downs over the years. While many spend their lives hoping to find their “one true love”, there is also the inescapable reality of an approximately 50% divorce rate for 1st marriages, a 60% divorce rate for 2nd marriages, and a 70% divorce rate for third marriages. Many of these marriages could be saved with biblical counsel, mature mentorship, and accountability. 2B1, through a series of periodic workshops, hopes to provide the necessary tools to couples, young and old, that will help them to live out their marital dreams.

With over 26 years of marriage experience, counseling many couples, providing marriage workshops and having completed marriage and family curriculum as a part of a Master's program, We (John and Rena Thompson) hope to help as many couples as possible. We utilize biblical principles, the most up-to-date methods and common sense to teach skills that are designed to enable marriages to last a lifetime.
